The DEFEND Cleveland Show

May 31st, 2013

On this week’s offering of Defend Cleveland Friday Mike and Joe lead off with the biggest sporting event in town this week…a soccer match.  Really. Who would have thought it possible. Afterwards the boys head to more familiar themes as the Jimmy Haslam soap opera continues to unfold with some pleas of guilty being made.  Don’t worry, Jimmy isn’t going to prison…yet. Then Mike and Joe applaud the candor of Tom Hamilton and his comments calling the Aroldis Chapman/Nick Swisher stand off, and they also take a look at the surprising issue of the flailing Tribe bullpen and the equally surprising prospering starting rotation.  To cap this one off the fellas move onto the NBA and trade blows over the merits of trading the potential #1 pick  of Nerlens Noel for DeMarcus Cousins before sprinkling in some opinions on the other NBA prospects in this year’s draft.  So sit back and tune in to this full hour of the best sports talk for your Friday, you won’t regret it.

WARNING: This show contains strong language and adult themes, and no blushing is allowed. There’s no blushing in sports talk. Period. It’s a rule.
